SharpCap, image/movie acquisition software. Easier for beginners - and my favourite software - for monochrome
acquisition than FireCapture though the latter is my favourite software for trichromy and multiband acquisition
or more advanced functions (as of December 2016).
Both offer excellent integration of recent cameras' features (e.g. cooler, readout clock, binning) in addition
to functions such as on-the-fly preprocessing.
