Galaxie M66 en pleine pollution lumineuse de banlieue. Newton 254mm EQ6. Facile: poses courtes, pas d'autoguidage, pas de flats, pas de darks, pas d'offsets, pas de, ni de. Rien. Caméra planétaire ZWO ASI120MM à température ambiante, température capteur 16°C. Logiciel d'acquisition FireCapture avec soustraction des darks à la volée, vraiment trop facile. De plus faibles extensions des bras ont été détectées avec le Celestron 5 de 125mm et la même caméra, plus loin des lumières, mais avec une résolution moindre.

M66 from suburbs with light pollution. 10" Newton on EQ6. Easy shooting procedure: short exposures, no autoguiding, no flat, no dark, no offset, neither, nor, nothing. Easy indeed. ZWO AS120MM planetary camera at ambiant temperature, sensor temp was 16°C. FireCapture acquisition software with on-the-fly dark subtraction, too easy. Fainter extensions of the galaxy's arms were detected with the 127-mm Celestron 5 and the same camera, farther from the lights, although with lesser resolution.
